MOMS Success Academy (MOSA)

MOMS SUCCESS ACADEMY is an after-school program designed to reinforce skills in reading, writing and math in order increase student’s academic success.  Students are recommended for this extended learning opportunity based upon performance data provided by district and state-based assessments.  Student data will be used to form instruction.  MOMS SUCCESS ACADEMY is offered after school on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:00pm until 4:15pm through the school year. Each day, students will be provided with a healthy snack and bus transportation home. MOMS SUCCESS ACADEMY is free for all invited students.  MOMS SUCCESS ACADEMY features a full hour and fifteen minutes of academic assistance by certified teachers.  The program provides additional time and support to help students learn, practice and apply essential skills through fun and enriching lessons and activities, all while working collaboratively with their peers. In addition to making academic progress, students will gain confidence in their ability to succeed in school and problem solve.  While participation is strongly encouraged, it is completely voluntary.

Homework Club

Homework Club is available Monday through Thursday immediately following the school day for all students.  Late buses are provided. Homework Club features a full hour and fifteen minutes of academic assistance by certified teachers.  The program provides additional time and support to assist students with homework, projects, organization, and address other student needs.  Students may also spend time working collaboratively with their peers.  In addition to making academic progress, students will gain confidence in their ability to succeed in school.  While participation is strongly encouraged, it is completely voluntary.
